GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE MILLENNIUM – An Initiative for Knowledge Dissemination
ASSOCHAM organizes the flagship Summits on ‘Global Knowledge Millennium’ on regular basis since 1999. Beginning with “Information Technology” (1999) , followed successively by “Biotechnology – The New World” (2001), “The Business of Biotechnology” (2003), “Nanotechnology & Biotechnology” (2006), “B2B in Bio-Nanotechnology” (2007) and finally “Bio-Nano: The War on Hunger” (2009).
Every year, the Global Knowledge Millennium witnessed the Nobel Prize Winner laureate as the Millennium Speaker. It has been an Honour for ASSOCHAM to always have either Hon’ble President or Hon’ble Prime Minister of India as the Chief Guest and Cabinet Ministers of our partnering Ministries on every Global Knowledge Millennium Summit.
The Seventh Global Knowledge Millennium addresses the current global and domestic issues of Emerging Health Threats, Improving Healthcare for Women and Child, Health Banking, Quality parameter of drugs and Medical-Tourism.This platform intends to bring together the Knowledge-Tanks for brain storming sessions on facing the threats and explores the Gamut of Investment Opportunities for Research and Development (R & D), Knowledge based Organisations/Industry, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Services based on Health & Medical Tourism Industry and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
