ASSOCHAM, the apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry,
popularly known as “The Knowledge Chamber” organized a very
successful 4th National Summit on e-Governance, 2006
in the past. ASSOCHAM was proud to have the World Bank, States like
Uttaranchal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and global
companies like TCS, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Pricewaterhouse
Coopers as the esteemed Partners for the Summit. Shri Mani
Shankar Aiyar, Hon’ble Union Minister for Panchayati Raj, Sports & Youth
Affairs, Government of India graced the occasion as the “Chief
Guest”. We also had immense pleasure & honour to have Shri
R. Chandrashekhar, IAS, Addl. Secretary, Deptt. of Information Technology,
Government of India as the “Guest of Honour” at the
4th National Summit on e-Governance.
ASSOCHAM along with Cente for E-Governance, Department of
Information Technology, Government of India is organizing the 5th
National Summit on e-Governance “Serving the Common Man through e-Governance:
Sharing of Experience” on Friday, 18th April, 2008 at The Oberoi, New
Delhi.
Leading technology companies like Microsoft, SAP, Hughes,
Sify, Wipro, Tulip, Sun Microsystems, PWC, Vakrangee and ABM Knowledgeware have
already confirmed their Partnership for this Summit.
World Bank and State Governments of Karnataka & Punjab
have also confirmed their participation so
far.
