Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) with the support of Government of Jammu & Kashmir is organizing “4th SMEs Sammelan – Building Capacities for Sustainable Growth” on 27th November, 2012 at Hotel Asia, Jammu.
Jammu is a State where SMEs have immense potential to grow by leaps and bounds. The key areas like Agriculture, Forest, Minerals, Sports Goods, Jems & Jewellery, Pharmaceuticals, Handicrafts, Light Engineering, Handloom, Sericulture, Horticulture & Floriculture, Food Processing etc in the State hold immense numbers of SMEs units which have certain issues related to basic infrastructure and financial needs.
The prime objective of the Seminar is to provide a platform where small entrepreneurs, Senior Government Officials and Financial Institutions could discuss these issues and come up with feasible solutions. Moreover, the focus would also be to prepare a roadmap for the sustainable growth for SMEs in the State.
You will be happy to know that Janab Omar Abdullah, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of J&K will inaugurate the event along with Shri Surjit Singh Salathia, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce & Employment, Government of J&K.
