Encouraged by the tremendous success of the earlier SME programmes held in different states of the country, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has decided to organize “6^th SME Sammelan – Driving SMEs to Growth” on 23^rd January, 2013 in Mumbai at Hotel Ramada Plaza, Juhu - Mumbai.

We have invited Shri K.H. Muniyappa, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of MSME, Government of India and

Shri Narayanan Rane, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Maharashtra as the Chief Guest. Besides, we have also invited Shri Vivek Rae, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, Shri Manu Kumar Shrivastava, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Maharashtra and Ms. Radhika Rastogi, IAS, Director of Industries, Government of Maharashtra to make their benign presence at the Seminar .

Considering the fact that Maharashtra houses a large number of SMEs, which significantly contributes to the GDP of the State and Nation, ASSOCHAM is keen to promote cause of SMEs and support them to attain new heights of the success.

We request you to kindly let us know any specific area / suggestions that you may like to have it included in the discussion paper. Please send us the same along with a brief write up as early as possible.
