The biggest challenge for next decade or more to banks in the country is to capture the banking business of over 50% population of this country of over 120 billion people. In order to sustain a higher economic growth, it is important to bring the excluded segment of the society into the fold of the formal financial sector. To achieve this, the banking sector, which forms the core of the financial architecture of the economy, will have to leverage technology and come up with innovative operating models which will be different from the conventional ones.
 
Indian Banking industry needs aggressive reforms to enhance its competitiveness in the global market in addition to fostering faster economic fortune of the country. Banks need to fine tune and refine their risk management systems in view of implementation of the global reforms agenda relating to Basel III, implementation of OTC derivative reforms, reducing reliance on credit rating agencies, amongst others.

Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister has kindly confirmed to deliver the Inaugural Address. At this prestigious summit, Chief Guest would also honour the winners of ASSOCHAM Social Banking Excellence Awards, 2013.

Registration Fees: 

  • Rs. 3,000 per delegate inclusive of Service Tax 

    • • 10% discount for ASSOCHAM Members OR 10 % discount for Two or more members from same organisation.
    • Fee once paid is non – refundable, although change of nomination is allowed.
    • Cancellation of the nomination should be done 4 day in advance of the event. If advance intimation is not made for the same, registration fee is applicable and paid/ Bourne by the company or individual.
    • The registration fee includes lunch, refreshments.
