India has always been a delight for tourists, especially those interested in history, culture and religion. For Buddhist tourists, India is the land of Buddha, for it was here, in a small town of Bodh Gaya, that the great prince Siddharta attained enlightenment and became Buddha. It was from India that Buddhism flourished and found its way to the other countries of the world.
To promote the significance of the religious sites of Buddhism in India and other South Asian countries, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is presenting “International Meet on Buddhist Tourism” on18th September, 2014 at Hotel ITC Maurya, New Delhi. Earlier this event was to be held at Hotel Imperial, New Delhi.
The forum is an endeavor to facilitate promotion of Buddhist Circuit across Indian sub continent and other neighboring countries of value to Buddhism.

His Holiness, The Gyalwang Drukpa and Shri Parvez Dewan, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India have agreed to deliver a special address at the occasion.
