“e-Governance is Easy governance, Effective governance and Economic governance….for Digital India.” – Shri Narendra Modi , Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, August 15, 2014.
Government of India recognizes that e-Governance, in the context of developing countries transparency, provides an excellent opportunity for improving governance. Used imaginatively, it is a trigger for introducing various administrative reforms. These changes could not only go a long way in improving the quality of life of various sections of society, but could actually provide them more equitable access to economic opportunities than ever before.
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), was established in 1920 as India’s Apex Chamber for Commerce and Industry, also commonly known as the “Knowledge Chamber”. Today it proudly caters to 4,50,000 Corporate Members and professionals from across the country.
ASSOCHAM through the National Summit on e-Governance & Digital India which has been officially Supported by the Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India has created a platform for the Central Ministries, State Governments and the Industry to come together and deliberate on the way forward for Digital India.
The Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India’s ambitious project of connecting 2,50,000 Gram Panchayats through 100 Megabytes per second of Broadband connectivity under the National Optical Fibre Network, will lead to demand for more e-Governance services in far flung areas and is one of the major projects undertaken for Digital India.
This year ASSOCHAM proposes to organize the 10th National Summit on e-Governance & Digital India on Tuesday 23rd September, 2014 at The Imperial, Janpath, New Delhi, from 10.00 am to 05.00 pm.

On behalf of ASSOCHAM, may we cordially invite your esteemed organization to “Partner” the 10th International Summit on e-Governance & Digital India.  The copy of Partnership Details, Proposed Agenda and Brochure are attached for your kind confirmation.
