We are pleased to share that ASSOCHAM is organizing 4th International summit on “Infrastructure Finance- Building for Growth” as a sequel to our earlier 3rd International summit on “Infrastructure Finance- Building for growth” held on 19th March 2013 .The theme for the Summit is  “Building for growth”. It is a part of ongoing effort by ASSOCHAM to catalyze the growth of our economy through sustainable infrastructure development.
Broadly, the summit will deliberate on the following topics:

  • New Govt.’s policies and the future outlook.
  • Critical assessment  of PPP Model and way forward
  • Creation of SMART CITIES –challenges and opportunities

  • Raising short-term funds for operations and maintenance of existing highways
  • Using ECBs and other sources of funding for construction equipment finance
  • Raising domestic funding for state highways and urban infrastructure projects.
  • Role of Insurance companies in Infrastructure finance.
  • Infrastructure financing  by Banks-Myth and Reality. 
  • Questions-Answers sessions
There will be presentation/ panel discussions for  these topics, to arrive at a shared understanding of the issues on hand, and a list of initiatives for the authorities/stakeholders  to take forward for overall  development.
Sh. Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Government of India has confirmed to be the  Chief Guest for this summit.
Mr. S.B.Nayar CMD, India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd. too has confirmed his presence as a distinguished Speaker.
