ASSOCHAM initiated its endeavour of value creation for Indian industry in 1920. Having in its fold more than 400 Chambers and Trade Associations, and serving more than 4,50,000 Industry Members from all over India, ASSOCHAM has contributed significantly by playing a catalytic role in shaping up the Trade, Commerce and Industrial environment of the country
In this year’s Union Budget, the Government came out with a road map to reduce the fiscal deficit, the gap between total expenditure and revenue, to 3 percent of the GDP by 2020-21 and eliminate primary deficit. As per the medium term fiscal policy cum fiscal policy strategy statement tabled in Parliament, the Government is aiming to contain the fiscal deficit at 3.4 percent in the current as well as next fiscal, and then bring it down to 3 percent in 2020-21(Source: PTI)
In this backdrop, ASSOCHAM is jointly organizing with EGROW Foundation, a 1-day Conference on Fiscal Policy Roadmap at Hotel Taj Mahal, Man Singh Road, New Delhi on Friday 17th  May 2019 in New Delhi from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
