ASSOCHAM
 has taken a Green Initiative to care for the Mother Earth and formed a Council for Green and Eco-friendly Movement (CGEM) that will execute “GEM Sustainability Certification Program” with an objective to promote environment friendly green building design and construction. Through this initiative, ASSOCHAM has started awarding GEM Sustainability Rating to buildings and developments. GEM stands for Green and Eco-friendly Movement which is the Green Building Certification Program of ASSOCHAM.
 
Since the launch of GEM Sustainability Certification Program in year 2017, GEM Rating System has made rapid strides in the Green Building Sector which covers projects across India. We have installed two GEM Chapters in Punjab and Rajasthan and third is being installed in Gujarat in August 2019.
 
Mr. Pankaj Dharkar is the Chairman of National Council for GEM. Ar. Vijay Garg, Vice President, COA is the Program and Education Chair and Ar. Charanjit Shah is the Sr. Member of National Council. Ar. Surinder Bahga is the Chair of Punjab Chapter and Ar. Tushar Sogani is the Chair of Rajasthan Chapter. Ar. Anand Tatu will be the Chair of Gujarat Chapter.
 
In this context, ASSOCHAM is organizing a Roundtable of Architects on Tuesday, 2nd July 2019 at 6:30 PM at New Delhi and inviting 25-30 Architects to attend the roundtable and share their valuable inputs.  
 
In view of the major contemporary relevance of the issues to be discussed, we would like to cordially invite you to the program to share your views and be part of ASSOCHAM National Council for GEM.
