Round Table Discussion On GST Including IT related Issues

23 July, 2019, ASSOCHAM Corporate Office, New Delhi

About Event  | Registration Form

Passage of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been one of the most important tax reforms of modern India. Ever since its introduction on July 1, 2017, the issue of compliance has been in the limelight, as GST’s success depends on timely compliance.
Over the last two years the industry faced many obstacles and hurdles, in terms of getting ready for GST. The Government on the other hand tried to ease the GST processes over a period of time by simplifying filing of registration application, creation of challan for tax payment, the return filing process, E Way bill, and providing relaxation on operational aspects.
The GST Council has already approved sweeping changes to the tax return filing system, with a simplified returns format and the facility of E-Invoicing to ease out compliance issues faced by the Industry. The GSTN is working hard to provide an improved IT infrastructure in 2019 that will allow more efficient GST compliance.
In view of the above, ASSOCHAM feels that a meeting should be organized between Industry,  CBIC & GSTN officials so as to facilitate free interaction between them. Therefore, ASSOCHAM is organizing a Roundtable discussion on GST including IT related issues as per the below mentioned schedule:
