ASSOCHAM is engaging with various state governments across the country and for the development of the industry and region. As knowledge chamber we have worked under the guidance of MoFPI for preparing necessary studies and create the right industry platform for food processing sector.

Odisha is among the fastest growing states in Fisheries sector. Considering the huge potential of Sea food from India MoFPI Government of India has given extensive efforts on promotion of food parks including seafood parks and the ever increasing need of developing a robust Cold Chain infrastructure in the country, In India Fisheries and sea food sector now facing the challenges like sustainability, resource conservation and management.There is a need for developing from point of production to consumer domestic or international. There is a need of broad coalition of Industry, Government, and Non-government institutions to come together to analyze the current scenario, issues and challenges and to develop the road map ahead and in this regard, ASSOCHAM in association with Ministry of Food Processing Govt. of India is organizing a whole day program to engage with all the stake holders, industry, state government and other agencies for –
