ASSOCHAM with the support from the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, New Delhi is organising a Webinar – “Building momentum in India – Ethiopia Economic Partnership through Trade and Investment Opportunities”
 
India-Ethiopia trade was US$ 896.86 million in Year 2019-20. India’s exports to Ethiopia for Year 2019-20 accounted for US$ 798.31 million and India’s imports from Ethiopia accounted for US$ 98.55 million. Indian companies maintained their reputation as being in the top three foreign investors in Ethiopia with newer Indian multinationals marking their presence in Ethiopia. There are more than 584 Indian companies in Ethiopia with licensed investment of over US$ 4 billion of which about US$ 2 billion is estimated to be on the ground.
 
The objective of the webinar is to consolidate resources to enable Indian and Ethiopian businesses to be self-reliant and have self-sustaining business opportunities.
