INSULATING CAPITAL MARKET FROM TECHNICAL GLITCHES
-THE WAY FORWARD -

04 March, 2021

About Event

Capital markets play a crucial role in the economic development of a country, by providing financial resources required for the long term sustainable development of the economy. India is one of the fastest growing wealth management markets in the world and is expected to be fourth largest private wealth market globally by 2028.

Technology has dramatically altered capital markets over the past few decades. Technologically induced innovations such as electronic exchanges, high frequency trading  and exchange traded funds have made trading in capital markets faster, cheaper and more integrated, yet at the same time concerns have been raised on issues like the recent technical glitch at NSE which happened near expiry or high-volatility day leading to panic and distressed trade positions.

Keeping in view the importance of technological disruptions for making a vibrant capital market and its efficient functioning, ASSOCHAM is organizing a Webinar on ‘Insulating Capital Market from Technical Glitches and the Way Forward’ at 4.30 p.m. on March 04, 2021. The objective of the conference is to discuss a way forward for creating a vibrant capital market, through efficient governance and enhancing investors’ confidence. The Webinar will be attended by various stakeholders, regulators, technology providers, intermediaries and institutional and retail participants.

In view of the importance of the subject, we are glad to invite you to attend the Webinar at 4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on 4th March, 2021.

REGISTRATION IS FREE. Attendees will be given an E-certificate.
