India recognized Georgia’s independence on 26 December 1991 and established formal diplomatic relations on 28 September 1992. Ever since then, India and Georgia
have survived plenty of historical challenges, while strengthening their cooperation with each other.
 
ASSOCHAM, along with POTI Free Industrial Zone (FIZ), Georgiais organizing an event focused on collaboration between India and Georgia to deliberate on areas of mutually beneficial trade and investment collaboration between Indiaand Georgia.
