The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has undertaken major initiatives in the area of ICT for Development. The proposed conference will promote and felicitate the use of Information, Communication Technology (ICT) for Development through its multiple focused tracks which aim to build a neutral platform for sharing knowledge and collaboration.

 The ICT awards would acknowledge unique and innovative initiatives in Governance, Health and Agriculture. Award nominations are invited under the respective thematic areas from government organizations, non-governmental organizations, private institutions and enterprises.
Award Objective
  • To encourage institutions leaders to use and apply ICT tools in various developmental and sector-specific projects in Governance, Health and Agriculture.
  • To identify and felicitate a project that exemplifies the kind of implementation that can be easily replicated and at the same time proves efficient and sustainable for other countries and regions
  • To promote the most innovative initiatives in the domain of ICT4D
  • To spread awareness about the role of ICTs in addressing social concerns
  • To emphasise the instrumental effectiveness of ICT based applications

  • Private Sector Initiative of the Year in eHealth
eAgri Awards :
  • ICT Enabled Agriculture Initiative of the Year
  • Private Sector Initiative of the Year in eAgriculture
The selection criteria for awards will focus on Innovation, Scalability, Ability to Overcome Challenges, Achievements, Impact Potential.
Documents to be enclosed:
  •  Brief project report outlining the activities undertaken toward contribution to the field of AWARD applied for, and in what ways this contribution helps for constructive change and transformation in the field. In case you are applying for more than one AWARD please enclose a separate project reports and appendix for each award category.
  1. Photo Album as an appendix to the Project Report
  2. Three testimonials each from stakeholders.
  3. The brochure of your Institution and profile of the promoter and principal.
Last date for Submission of nominations is 20th February, 2014
  • All nominations must reach ASSOCHAM Corporate office.
  • The Finalist will be announced and felicitated at the national conference on ICT– ‘Developing the Nation Digitally’ on 4th March, 2014 at, Hotel Le Méridien, New Delhi

Registration Fees: 

  • Award Processing Charges: INR 5000/-  
  • Delegate Fee: 3,000/- per delegate  (10% discount for three or more persons from the same organization.)

 Participation fee is non-adjustable against any other programme of ASSOCHAM. However change in nomination(s) is accepted.
 Programme is non – residential.
