Estonian IT cos. participate in ASSOCHAM SmarTec2020 to attract investments, forge agreements and promote Int’l cooperation

Indian industry can benefit hugely from various technological innovations from Estonia: Ambassador
New Delhi, 30th September 2020: Various companies in the information technology (IT) domain from Estonia - a tiny Baltic, but digitally most advanced country in the world participated in the SmarTec2020 organised by ASSOCHAM to attract investments, forge agreements and promote global cooperation.
Estonia was represented by 11 companies that showcased latest IT solutions and smart technologies during the virtual event conducted by ASSOCHAM. The participating companies comprised different portfolios ranging from artificial intelligence, smart cities solutions, big data analysis and modelling, tools for digital identities and signatures, industrial automation development, cyber security, cloud based fuel station management, e-health and others.
“India is a very important market for Estonian IT companies and we look forward to utilise the virtual platform to create awareness about our expertise and also make our companies understand the various insights and requirements of India,” said Ms Katrin Kivi, Ambassador of Estonia to India.
She added, “Our companies have global vision, presence and expertise to render their solutions in different realm of IT Industry and Indian Industry can also benefit a lot by having close synergies with various technological innovations from Estonia.”
