2nd India EFTA Prosperity Summit

  • 07 Oct, 2026

Building on the success of the 1st India–EFTA Prosperity Summit held in New Delhi in 2025, the 2nd India–EFTA Prosperity Summit 2026 will be held on 7 October 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Summit will bring together senior government representatives, policymakers, industry leaders and businesses from India and the four EFTA States — Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

H.E. Mr. Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, is expected to participate in the Summit along with a high-level business delegation from Switzerland. The Hon’ble Commerce and Industry Minister (HCIM), Government of India, and the Deputy Director-General (DDG), EFTA Secretariat, will also address the Summit. High-level Ministerial delegations from Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein are also likely to participate. More than 100 foreign delegates are anticipated to attend, reflecting the growing momentum in India–EFTA economic and business engagement.

The Summit will focus on advancing opportunities under the India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), strengthening investment ties, promoting innovation and technology partnerships, and facilitating business collaboration.

A key feature will be four sectoral roundtables on Smart & Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Blue Economy & Maritime Excellence, and Clean Energy & Climate Innovation.

The Summit aims to build on the outcomes of the inaugural edition and translate the potential of TEPA into concrete investments, business partnerships and long-term economic cooperation between India and the EFTA region.
