8th ASSOCHAM Smart Datacenters & Cloud Infrastructure Conclave 2025

Karnataka has emerged as a key hub for technological innovation and industrial growth in India, especially in the IT sector, contributing 40% of the country\'s total IT exports. The state hosts over 400 R&D centres, reflecting its strong focus on research and development. Proactive regulatory reforms have simplified, digitised, and decriminalised over 1,400 compliance processes, boosting ease of doing business and investor confidence. With advanced digital infrastructure, Bengaluru ranks among the top five cities in India for data centres, with its IT load capacity projected to exceed 190 MW by 2023–24. Karnataka’s reliable power supply, leadership in renewables, skilled workforce, and business-friendly policies make it an ideal destination for next-generation data centre investments.

Annually, ASSOCHAM organises the India Smart Datacenters Conclave with a primary objective of making India a global hub for datacenters. The Conclave brings together the Govt., Industry, Investors & other crucial stakeholders under one roof to discuss on legal, policy & regulatory enablers that are essential to develop the digital infrastructure, promote future investments & strengthen datacenter & cloud business in India. Seven editions of this Conclave were organised in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai in the past. ASSOCHAM proposes to organise the 8th edition of this Conclave in Bengaluru.
