North East Region Development Council   

India\'s North-Eastern Region is rapidly emerging as a strategic hub for economic growth, investment, and regional connectivity. Rich in natural resources, biodiversity, and skilled human capital, the region offers immense potential for industrial development, infrastructure expansion, tourism, trade, and cross-border economic cooperation with neighbouring countries.

The ASSOCHAM North East Development Council serves as a leading Industry Policy Forum, working closely with the Central and State Governments to promote public policy, regulatory reforms, Ease of Doing Business, business competitiveness, infrastructure development, MSME growth, and sustainable economic development across the North-Eastern Region.

The Council brings together policymakers, government agencies, industry leaders, infrastructure developers, investors, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration, advance policy advocacy, and facilitate industry–government engagement. Through conferences, stakeholder consultations, knowledge initiatives, and strategic partnerships, the Council supports holistic and inclusive development, promotes investment opportunities, and contributes to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
