The ASSOCHAM National Council on Manufacturing & Capital Goods serves as an Industry Policy Forum, fostering meaningful engagement between government, industry, sectoral associations, and other stakeholders to facilitate public policy dialogue, address industry concerns, and support the growth of Manufacturing India.

The Council works closely with industry members, subject matter experts, and sectoral associations to develop concrete policy recommendations and advocate regulatory reforms that enhance business competitiveness and industrial development. Through continuous engagement with stakeholders, the Council provides industry insights and representations on key issues affecting various manufacturing sub-sectors.

To strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Council organises conferences, round-table discussions, seminars, workshops, and stakeholder consultations at both the national and state levels. It also undertakes industry surveys, facilitates meaningful industrial dialogue, and advocates short-term and long-term policy measures that contribute to infrastructure development, manufacturing growth, and the advancement of the Indian economy.
