The UP-Manufacturing Conclave 2026, organised by ASSOCHAM UP State Development Council, is a flagship platform aimed at catalysing the next phase of industrial growth in Uttar Pradesh. As India’s leading apex industry chamber with a legacy of over a century, ASSOCHAM continues to play a key role in bridging the gap between industry, government, and key stakeholders to shape the nation’s economic trajectory.

Uttar Pradesh has firmly positioned itself as a manufacturing powerhouse, supported by a vast MSME ecosystem, strong policy backing, and rapidly evolving industrial infrastructure. With over 90 lakh MSMEs and diverse sectoral strengths ranging from traditional crafts to advanced manufacturing, the state is driving employment, exports, and economic expansion at scale. Strategic initiatives such as industrial corridors, expressway-linked townships, and defence manufacturing clusters are further strengthening its global competitiveness.

Aligned with the state’s ambitious vision of becoming a $1 trillion economy, the Conclave focuses on strengthening the manufacturing sector as a key growth engine. It aims to address critical challenges including technology adoption, access to finance, skill development, market linkages, and sustainability, particularly for MSMEs.
