IT & ITeS & Digital Commerce

The ASSOCHAM IT, ITES & Digital Commerce Council serves as a leading Industry Policy Forum, driving dialogue and collaboration on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Robotics, and other digital innovations. Through conferences, consultations, and stakeholder engagements, the Council promotes the growth of India's digital economy, strengthens business competitiveness, and contributes to the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Digital India.

The Council works closely with the Government and key institutions, including the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Ministry of Communications, and NITI Aayog, to promote entrepreneurship, Startup India, MSME growth, public policy advocacy, regulatory reforms, and the adoption of emerging technologies for inclusive and sustainable development.

The Council also collaborates with other ASSOCHAM councils to strengthen policy advocacy and thought leadership on cyber-physical systems, including Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, digital infrastructure, and skilling. Through knowledge-sharing initiatives, industry insights, strategic partnerships, and best practice exchanges, the Council supports innovation-led growth and India's transition towards a technology-driven, globally competitive economy.
