AI Task Force

Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITeS) industry of the country is a critical pillar in India’s economic growth. The industry has the potential to be a driving force for enabling India to develop capabilities for harnessing new technologies like Artificial Intelligence cutting across all sectors. Today India is increasingly positioning itself as a leader in artificial intelligence (AI), driven by several key factors like Government Initiative, Thriving Startup Ecosystem, Growing Talent Pool and Industry Adoption. There is need to leverage AI’s transformative potential for the benefit of India's economy and society. ASSOCHAM has set up an AI National taskforce and is dedicated to driving innovation, policy advocacy, and ethical guidelines fostering industry collaboration, promoting global leadership in AI technology, addressing societal challenges, and promoting skill development.
