India’s transmission segment has experienced substantial evolution over the years, making significant progress in expanding and integrating the grid infrastructure into one of the largest synchronous grids in the world.

The ASSOCHAM National Council on Transmission regularly hosts council meetings, stakeholder consultations, and conferences to discuss industry challenges, provide recommendations, and explore innovative trends.

The council also represents ASSOCHAM in high-level meetings with ministers, senior government officials, policymakers, and regulators, concentrating on tackling sectoral issues, policy advocacy, and evaluating innovative solutions. The council aim to drive sectoral advancements and support sustainable development in the transmission domain.
