Chandigarh, the shared capital of Punjab and Haryana, is also a Union Territory. One of India\'s earliest planned cities in the post-independence era, it is internationally renowned for its architecture, urban planning, and high quality of infrastructure. Recognising the city\'s growth potential, the ASSOCHAM Chandigarh Development Council serves as a leading Industry Policy Forum, working closely with the Union Territory Administration, the Central Government, industry, and other stakeholders to advance public policy, regulatory reforms, Ease of Doing Business, MSME growth, investment promotion, infrastructure development, and business competitiveness. Through policy advocacy and industry–government collaboration, the Council supports initiatives that strengthen Chandigarh\'s economic and industrial ecosystem.
