The ASSOCHAM Council on Med-Tech serves as an Industry Policy Forum dedicated to bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, healthcare experts, and other stakeholders to deliberate on key sectoral issues and advocate regulatory reforms that strengthen India's MedTech ecosystem.

The Council focuses on promoting Ease of Doing Business, business competitiveness, industry collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth while representing the interests of ASSOCHAM's member organisations.

Through regular stakeholder consultations, conferences, industry events, and public policy dialogue, the Council enables members involved in the medical devices and diagnostics sector to identify emerging regulatory and policy challenges, engage constructively with government, academia, and industry, and support solutions that foster innovation, investment, and improved healthcare outcomes.
