As India is progressing towards a knowledge economy, it has become even more important to ensure that the ultimate fruits of ICTs become available to all. In this context ASSOCHAM the apex Knowledge Chamber is proposing to organize the ICT for Development Summit cum Awards.
The event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange between the key stakeholders who are active in the fields of Governance, Urban Development-with Special Focus on Smart Cities, Education, Health and BFSI. The focus of the above Summit is on Government of India’s Digital India Program and the changes which India will witness through this initiative and follow up of recommendations, references etc to get the desired results. By facilitating an exchange of thoughts between these stakeholders, the summit will serve as a boon for an ICT revolution that is more inclusive in nature.
